Notify List Stuff: Remember, if you want an e-mail every time I update my journal, go here. Plus my notify list might get extra little tidbits from time to time. If you want to get an e-mail every time I upload something Real World related, go here. You can be on both mailing lists, one or the other, or neither. It's all up to you.

I should've broken yesterday's entry up into two days, because I'm left with not so much to say today. But that's never stopped me before! Oh, the new Real World Summary is up.

Jim is taking a class right now, and it's so cute because he was all nervous about it beforehand. He hasn't taken a class in 5 years, so I think he wasn't sure if he would still be a good student or what. Then, after the first day of class, he actually sat at a desk and did homework! He is a much better student than I am. I do my homework in front of the TV.

I think it's a little ridiculous how much work he has. The class goes from Monday to Sunday, and it's in Local Area Networks. Saturday and Sunday are lab days, where they're going to actually build a network. Every other day is just lecture, but they have a quiz every day and a group project! Anyway, he's all nervous about it, and I can't figure out why. He's not trying to get a degree right now, so if he bombs it, it doesn't count for anything anyway. Maybe it's just jitters because he hasn't taken a non-English lit class in so long. I think he's underestimating how smart he is. He thinks everyone else in his class knows a lot more than he does, but I know from experience that's not true. I take classes with most of those people.

Some people e-mailed me about the car situation, so here's an update. I may have an opportunity to earn some money from home this fall, so we won't need a car. I don't want to say too much about it, as things aren't final yet, but trust me - you guys will be the first to know when plans become more firm.

Wow. I really need to get out of the house more often when that's the best I can come up with. Terry and Stimp are leaving for South or North Dakota (not sure which) for a friend's wedding. They're driving, but I'm not sure what car they took. Anyway, if you see them along the journey, be sure to say hi! I am jealous of their schedule this summer - it would be nice to have the whole summer off! I almost do, but I still have to work on my internship now and again. They have been travelling all summer long. Of course, that has translated into very few supergush shows.

I guess that's it. Peace out.

Somehow I don't think kids ordering a bottle of wine on the internet is the problem here. Do teenagers really drink wine anyway?

When it comes to search engines, is bigger better? And why can't I get this journal OR the Real World stuff listed on Yahoo?

SWV is releasing a best-of album. Hello? SWV? I remember that song "Weak", but what other hits did they have?

I think the new show by the Pop-Up Videos creators sounds pretty funny. I am addicted to Pop-Up Video.

I got to go to Target this weekend while I was visiting my parents. I love Target. I hate when people call it Tar-zhay. I don't know why.

The Dreamcast is going to be Internet capable, which should be interesting.

A site selling Oakland Raiders merchandise is suing LinkExchange for putting pornographic banners on their site. Meanwhile, I got turned down by LinkExchange b/c I have the word "hell" in my banner. Whatever.
